Every now and then a movie comes out that just really touches us. Being a family who loves theatre and especially musicals my kids and I took in the new movie "Mama Mia" a few weeks ago when my husband was out of town. We LOVED it. Even my 7 year old son loved it. The kids walked out of the theatre with the grand anticipation of taking their Dad to the show when he got home. We did, and he loved it. Last week our daughter got invited to go see a movie with a friend. The friend wanted to see a movie we didn't approve of so the girls compromised and went to, you guessed it, "Mama Mia". Her friend loved it. Ok, Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth don't have the greatest voices in the world, but the one thing we noticed is that he cast seemed to truly have an absolute blast with every scene. This is just a really fun, fun, movie. You don't even notice that you start singing along, and both times I saw the movie the audience clapped at the end. Oh, by the way, I picked up the soundtrack today and have it rocking my walls as I write this!
