It's going to be a long week!

My husband leaves tomorrow and won't be back until Sunday. He has had a business related trip scheduled in Western Kansas for awhile now, and was going to head on to Denver for a visit with is Dad. His Dad is in stage 5 Alzheimer's. These visits are crucial since in the next few months or optimistically year or so, he won't be having quality time with him. Well, yesterday, we were informed that the husband of one of his sisters best friends was killed in a car accident. This is a childhood friend so my husband is friends with her too. He even sang at their wedding in the early 90's. He is going to attend the funeral with his sister. My kids and I are never happy when he is not home, but this is a trip he needs to make.
