Birds have feelings too.

Now that Spring may have finally sprung for us, we have been keeping our tube bird feeder well stocked for our resident house finches. We have strategically placed this feeder just outside our living room window so we can watch the birds. Well, yesterday we ran out of seed. Our daughter filled it in the morning and a few hours later it was empty. These little birds are not happy. Last night, one male just sat on top of the feeder looking into the house squeaking at me, trying to get my attention. Again this morning, he was back doing the same thing, only with a few of his friends. They were loud enough, we actually had to turn up the TV show we were watching. I guess I'll be making a run to the store this morning, for bird seed! As soon as I can get a picture taken, I'll post it.

Alot of people ask about our garden railroad. He it is. It is actually quite a bit more mature than what you see here. This was July 4, 2006.
