I don't mind most housekeeping type of things, I actually rather revel in taking care of our home. The one thing I absolutely loathe is laundry. I despise it! In our house, it seems that for every 1 load of laundry I do, 5 more pile up behind it. This is the truly one thing in my life I feel I have no control over. I have laundry piles in our master closet, the laundry room, (go figure that one), my son's room, my son's bathroom, my daughters room, my daughter's bathroom, under their beds, in the toy box, on the beds, and who knows where else. We also have some kind of weird black hole of socks that seems to swallow up one half of a pair of socks. Where do they go? I have a collection of 20+ orphan socks right now. I actually did probably 5 loads of laundry during the week this week, and we are looking at another 5-7 loads waiting to be done. As I look at some of these clothes, I usually realize, they have made it back into the dirty clothes without having been worn. How do I know this? They are still nicely folded or sometimes, even still on the hangers. This usually happens due to the fact that our daughter is too lazy to put her clothes away. I am up to my gills in laundry. Does anybody have suggestions for staying on top of it, or limiting the childrens 5 outfits a day contribution to this problem?
