Great Minds Think Alike!?!

Yesterday morning I was walking around the room monitoring the students on the computers in the Computer Applications class I was teaching and I overheard two boys talking about the Kansas City Chiefs horrible performance in Sunday's game. One said, "Yea, it just gets worse, we've got the Bronco's this weekend!" This caught my ear and I joined in. In the conversation I realized the Chiefs played the Broncos in Kansas City. My little lightbulb over my head could be seen across the room. I went over to the phone, called my husband,

"Do you realize the Broncos play the Chiefs IN ARROWHEAD this weekend?" I asked

His reponse, "I was just thinking about how to call you and see if we wanted to go!"

We are going to be going through Kansas City on the way home from a train event in Nebraska City, NE. We originally had plans to stop at the "Renaissance Festival" for a few hours. Upon getting home, I pulled up Ebay and found some incredible 50 yd line tickets, just 3 rows above the VIP club box, with parking pass. These are season tickets, but this guy just can't stand to see the Chiefs stomped by the Broncos. "We don't have that problem, I told him on the phone!" "I won't hold that against you" he said as we both laughed in our phone conversation after the close of the "Buy It Now" auction. "These tickets have been in my family for 35 years. You won't be disappointed!"

For S and I, this is our first Pro game in 15 years, for the kids, it's their first. Should be fun!
