On our way home from the waterpark last week, I found myself letting my mind wander regarding what to do for DH for his upcoming birthday. Not getting specific, he is in his later 40's now and is starting to realize he isn't 30 anymore. I also wanted to do something special since in the last year he has lost over 50 pounds and is feeling really good about that. He mentioned again about a month ago that he would really like to see "Phantom of the Opera" again when we were discussing the upcoming community theatre season. Well, I guess that's what we will do. I booked a trip to Las Vegas over his birthday in two weeks for us to see "Phantom of the Opera" at the Venetian Hotel. They built a $50 million dollar theatre modeled directly after the Paris Opera House. I secured Golden Circle tickets on the 4th row and we will be staying at the Rio. Thankfully, the grandparents are splitting time with the kids so we can do this. It should be an incredible weekend and I haven't seen DH this excited in a long time.
