May 2 Work, School, daughter has birthday party to attend, pick her up at 9:00 p.m. (DH in Denver)
May 3, Head to McPherson to help sister pack, daughter stays here to be picked up for another birthday party starting at noon. Son to go to Wichita with Brother-in-law and nephew for comic book convention and movie. (DH still in Denver.
May 4, Church, yes all three of us a scheduled to do something, need to find a sub for Cantor since DH is in Denver. Mow neighbors lawn who recently moved to Chicago.
May 6, Sons soccer party at our house with pizza, running the trains, and 11 7 year olds.
May 7, sons field trip to Abilene for school (pack him a lunch), daughters dress rehearsal for recital.
May 8, daughter to SCT for recital (drop off, she performs in all three, we are'nt going to this one.)
May 9, attend this recital, daughter performs all four of her numbers, son gets to see her.
May 10, son's dress rehearsal in the morning, attend this recital in the evening with all grandparents, this is son's night and daughter still performs one dance.
May 11, friends from Chicago arrive for 3 night stay to wrap up some unfinished business from before their move.
May 12, son's skating party for school

etc. etc. etc. The rest of the month looks pretty much like this.

In all of this, DH and I are still working and we still have to keep the house clean for all of these guests and the garden and yard kept up.

I'm tired just thinking about it. The good news, school is out on May 20 and our vacation starts on May 24. Then summer activities like volleyball, swimming lessons, baseball, etc. start up. Hey, at least doing the laundry isn't such a pain anymore!
