Fun in Miami

We had a blast yesterday. We got upgraded to Business class on the fight and actually enjoyed a flight for once. Really cool. Miami is a neat city. We enjoyed the evening at the Bayside Marketplace across from our hotel and a trip around the harbor on a pirate ship. We got to see the homes of Will Smith, Gloria Estefan, Sylvester Stallone, Julio and Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin, and the inventor of Viagra (His was the biggest of course, no seriously!) We ate at Bubba Gumps for lunch, and Hooter's for dinner. We watched our ship, Majesty of the Seas come into port this morning from our hotel room and hopefully some rain in the area will clear for boarding in a few hours. Please all who reads this, pray and cross your fingers.

On another note, we want to remember our servicemen and women today on Memorial Day. Yesterday the airline bumped an Army serviceman in uniform into first class a few minutes into the flight. We were impressed. He slept the entire flight. From his very dark tan, we gathered he was going home from a overseas tour. We thanked him for his service. He responded in a quiet solitude. He was glad to be home. Please say a prayer for our veterans today and everyday.

Have a good Memorial Day!

Alot of people ask about our garden railroad. He it is. It is actually quite a bit more mature than what you see here. This was July 4, 2006.
