Last night my son got his pajamas on and crawled up on to the couch were I was laying down watching "Dancing with the Stars" and wanted to lay with me. We had just watched a Macy's commercial when he said, "Mom, I want to get you a new purse for Mother's Day". I told him that was really sweet, but I really like my purse I have now. He then said, "Can we get you a new ring? You've had that one (my wedding ring) for a really long time, it's time for a new one". I then explained that I never want to get a new wedding ring because this one means so much to me. "You're really hard to buy for Mom!", my husband sitting on the other couch commiserrated with him and laughed. I told him that what I really want is to have some spa treatments done on our cruise for Mother's day, including maybe a facial. "No don't get a facial, I like your face the way it is!" Isn't that sweet.
