A Rite of Passage

Although our daughter is only 10 years old, she is becoming quite the young lady. She recently attended her 5th grade honor night at the elementary school, which is a way to send off the kids to middle school. She "walked the stage" and graduated to the next phase of her education. She got to wear her new dress we got for this as well as the cruise and she was stunning. Unfortunately, her dad and I aren't quite ready for the boys to take notice, but they did. She had her boyfriend wanna be messenging her from the moment we got home. He is smitten, and she is enjoying the attention. I watched as she instant messaged with him, and she is "goooood", way to good for my comfort. We are going to have to sit down soon for another talk I'm afraid!
