For the next few days, I had several things planned to get done while I am still on Christmas break. One was to have the satellite radio in our new Mountaineer wired up. The guy called this morning to tell me that the wiring kit is on back order and won't be in until next week. Ok, I'll call Long McArthur and see if they can squeeze me in a day early for my new tires. "Yea, I was about to call you. Our tire machine broke this morning and we need to postpone your new tires until Friday" said the service rider when I called. Geez! What else could go wrong. With the day opened up, I decided to take the kids on a day trip to Hutchinson to the Kansas Cosmosphere. They had a blast. This is the first time E was actually reading all of the captions on the museum displays. He was most interested in the V2 and V1 German rockets. The Apollo XIII "Odyssey" capsule was most intriguing to K. She has seen the movie, and seeing the real thing was pretty cool. Not a replica, the real thing! Overall, a good day. I did sleep through most of the IMAX movie as I was really tired from a late night, but the kids thought the "Wild Ocean" film was awesome.
