Starting the Celebrations!

See E's red tie, this is his first "big boy" tie. You actually have to tie it! Well, my husbands cousin had to tie it!

Over the weekend, we celebrated Christmas as well as my father-in-laws 80th birthday in McPherson. We had a great time, except for S catching a bad cold. It is bad enough he actually stayed home from work yesterday. Family came from all over for this celebration. We had a great dinner, and fantastic visiting. A special thankyou from all of the Aunts and Uncles for their Christmas gifts to the kids. They love everything. Also, thanks to my in-laws for their gifts and ongoing generosity. We are all so blessed!

Just a plug here, my nephew has co-founded an online web store that specializes in family outdoor gear. I checked it out and it's pretty cool. Here is a link if you are looking for outdoor camping, running, hiking, biking, etc. gear. http://www.twoknobbytires.com/. Spread the word.

Alot of people ask about our garden railroad. He it is. It is actually quite a bit more mature than what you see here. This was July 4, 2006.
