"Mom, Santa's been here, come look!"

The following was my 4:30 a.m. wake up call!

Our door blew open "Mom, Santa's been here!", our son screamed, which nearly sent me into a coronary. I hauled him in bed with us, (thank God for king sized beds), and told him the rule is we had to wait until 6:00 a.m. before we got up. We laid in bed with him fidgeting until about 5:15 when he and us finally went back to sleep. "RINNNNNNNNG", it's now 6:38 a.m. and our phone is ringing. "Patsy, did I wake you up?" "Yea Sasha, you are an hour ahead now while you are in Pittsburgh!" Our neighbors/friends are in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with their family for the Holidays. Santa came there for them.

Any how, we managed to get up, put on a pot of coffee and open presents. Everyone got what they wanted. E got his Speed Racer remote control cars, DVD's, and misc. other things. K got her I-Pod touch, clothes, Itunes gift cards and misc. other things. S got a new jacket for Alaska, Bushnell binoculars for Alaska and a coffee grinder. I got an I-Pod nano and a toaster. As for the family, we have a new to us 2005 Mercury Mountaineer sitting in the garage that we bought on Monday. We are officially a minivan free family.
