Over the last few days, K has been obsessed with the laundry. She knows how much I despise doing laundry and she decided to take on washing and drying every piece of clothing in the house. (she left the folding, hanging up and putting up to me) This morning as I was sitting down to read the paper in my pajamas, "Mom, I need you pajamas!" This is getting rediculous I told her. "She's trying to strip me down so she can do the laundry" I told S as he walked into the living room from our bedroom having just gotten his shower and dressed for the day. He just laughed. So we asked her, "What do you want? You wouldn't be doing this if you weren't hitting us up for something!" "I need money to buy Christmas presents" she told us. OK, I can live with that. She isn't thinking of something SHE wants, she is thinking of things for her brother, us, and other family. The Christmas spirit is alive and well in her and it isn't even Thanksgiving. We'll be putting a little bonus in her allowance tomorrow.
