Straight A's, finally

I went to K's first middle school parent teacher conference tonight. I sat with her lead teacher as he went over individual reports from all of her classes. She was right on the line for two classes, but she pulled out A's. She has been pushing for this since the beginning of school, it finally happened and she said "I thought I would be more excited". Well, we were kinda expecting this since we check her grades regularly on the internet access site, but it's neat to actually see it on the paper. I guess tomorrow we get to go out and buy a new pair of Nike Shox tennis shoes. We promised her these if she got all A's. Neither her Dad nor I ever got straight A's, I guess this is a first for our family.
