I usually take great comfort in the "fact" that our kids just don't seem to get sick. They will usually come down with a 24 hour thing once or maybe twice a year. I watch and hear about our nephew (see my sisters blog)and my heart aches watching him go through so much. Yesterday, E came down with a fever. It got as high at 102, and has returned to normal and spike up to 100 again. He also started vomiting this morning. He has done nothing but lay around for the last two days and sleep for much of them. K came up this morning complaining of sinus pressure and sore throat again. She stayed in and seems to be doing better as long as she is taking Theraflu. I finally conceded that I can't work tomorrow and e-mailed the sub caller. I also decided to get out some today knowing I would be home with E again tomorrow. I decided to go help drywall at our church with some of the guys, just to get out. I actually enjoy this stuff. I then took our new car out for a drive, sans top. A bit windy (we had nice 25-30 mph gusts today), but a nice drive. S and I are just crossing our fingers we don't end up with this. It's probably inevitable, but we can hope.

Oh no! I hate to see them looking so sick and out of it. Get well soon!
