Yesterday a stranger stopped by the house and asked if we were going to run our Halloween "Spook" train again this year. Our daughter said yes, we'll start just before dark. "Great, we'll be here!" she said as she walked away. Remember the July 4th Open House? We told everyone that the next opportunity to see the trains is Halloween. It looks like we might just have a few show up. We picked out 6 pumpkins yesterday and started cleaning them out to carve tomorrow. S picked up some orange flicker lights, I picked out some strobe lights and lighted pumkin staked lights, and we have 3 cd's of spooky music. Thanks to the freeze the last two night, most of the vegetation is dying off, so the garden looks pretty bad right now, but this is Halloween, everything is supposed to look dead! The weather this year is going to be in the upper 60's, so at least we won't freeze.
