Yesterday, we had our 3rd Independence Day Open House on the garden. Thanks to the front page feature story in the newspaper on July 2, we saw over 300 people come through the garden! Absolutely Incredible! The smiles on the faces of the young and old were priceless. It is days like this that make this hobby all worthwhile. A chance to break into nostalgia for the older generation, and bridge those days with the young. We plan on having this open house every July 4th unless travel prevents it. We also open the garden to the public for Halloween every year. On Wednesday, we head to Denver for the National Convention. See you when we get back.
