Thank God for my Chiroprator

I was playing Volleyball with a PE class on Friday and went to pick up a ball to serve, and BAM, I was down and I wasn't coming back up. I knew immediately what had happened. I've had a history of this injury. I sprained my right SI joint in my pelvis. Imagine some of the worst lower back pain immaginable. You feel like an elephant is sitting on your shoulders, and you are trying to stand up straight. I just isn't going to happen. I immediately called my beloved Chiroprator, Maria Rapp and she got me in that afternoon. Believe it or not, I made it through the day and even taught one more PE class. I don't remember much, but they say I did it! Maria massaged, popped, and maneuvered my body in ways you can't imagine and then set me up for some electrostim treatments. I went in the next day,(Saturday) where she was all alone, when I walked in. She came in for me! She claims she had other work to do, but I can still believe I was the impetus. She worked me over again, and I was beginning to improve, but it was still rough. I got through Easter Sunday Church obligations and lunch with the family before I retreated to home where I finally rested all afternoon and evening. When I got up Monday morning, the elephant was gone! No longer did I stand up and have gravity betray me as pain had been setting into the joint each time I stood up. Here it is Wednesday, and I am still a little stiff, but for the most part, pain free. I used to take me weeks to feel this good after this injury. I know Chiroprators are generally treated with skepticism, but I am living proof that they can really help some injuries and conditions. Maria and her husband/partner Jeff see all 4 of us on a regular basis and we all can testify to their miracle hands. Chiropractors are a dime a dozen, but when you find a good one, hold on to them!
