What trip to Colorado is complete without some sort of winter sports? That being said, we decided to venture 2 hours into the mountains and take the kids snow tubing. My brother-in-law and I left yesterday moring with his daughter, and our two kids for a day in the snow. Although my son thought it was be totally "righteous" to go snowboarding, we decided tubing was alot more logistically doable. No lift ticket, ski rental, ski gear, helmet, goggles, etc. Just park your bum on a big inner tube and go zipping down an icy hill at speeds of up to 30 mph. No kidding! We had a blast!
