Today E ran his car in the annual Boy Scout Pack 20 Pinewood Derby. This is one of the biggest events in a Cub Scouts year. This year, he decided he wanted to build a Speed Racer Mach 5 model. This started in McPherson on New Years Day when we utilized Grandpa's really cool wood shop to cut out, shape, and sand the car. Then it was on to painting and adding the necessary weight. E came in a very respectable 3rd place in his wolf den. He also won a specialty award for "Most Antique". Not quite sure where about that one, but OK!
